The Cleared-out Teak Forest in Cikuleu, Ujung Jaya, Sumedang, West Java, Indonesia

The cleared-out teak forest located in Cikuleu, Ujung Jaya, Sumedang, West Java, Indonesia, which is owned by K.H. Mukibat has been an Indonesia’s national asset. It used to contain teak wood as old as approximately 200 years before the teak forest was cleared out. This cleared-out teak forest has been used as a means of power for obtaining the IMF funds and other foreign funds.

K.H. Mukibat received two decisions:

1. The Sumedang National Court Decree 06/Pdt/P/1991/PN.Smd, dated 21st Mei 1991. In Bahasa Indonesia: Penetapan Pengadilan Negeri Sumedang Nomor 06/Pdt/P/1991/PN Smd.
2. The Supreme Court Decree KMA/03/Pdt/III/1997, dated March 1997, which has been won by K.H. Mukibat’s beneficiaries.

This asset has been used to take over businesses and the nation’s power until now (when this writing was published). K.H. Mukibat’s beneficiaries have not yet been compensated for these 17 years (since 1991).

Sunan Gunung Jati – Prince Pasarean – Prince Panjunan – Prince Pasiraga (Grandpa Nangsi) – Grandpa K.H. Mukibat – Grandpa K.H. Satari – Grandpa K.H. Hasan Bakri – K.H. Hasan Bakri’s Granddaugther out of the marriage between two relatives (H. Rofiah and H. Gani), i.e. dra. Rochjati, the only daughter of dra. Rochjati Gani, i.e. Nia.
